Designed to be easy to use without any training at all, the HeartSine Samaritan 360P is one of the most user-friendly defibrillators on the market right now. By analysing the victim's heart rhythm, the Samaritan 360P knows precisely when to deliver the shock to give the best chance of survival.

Especially designed for use in public areas and designed to be completely user-friendly , the HeartSine samaritan® PAD 360P is a sophisticated fully automatic defibrillator for adult or paediatric use, inside a lightweight and easy-to-operate system. The  360P is a fully automatic defibrillator designed to analyse heart rhythm and automatically deliver an electrical shock (if needed).  Its advanced technology is balanced against the demands of real world use.

The 360P also uses HeartSine’s practical Pad-Pak, which incorporates the battery and electrodes in a quick to replace single-use cartridge – meaning only one expiration date to monitor and only one item to replace after use. The Heartsine 360P is suitable for use on adults and children. For children younger than 8 years or weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs), a Pediatric-Pak is available (sold separately).

What's Included?

  • 1 PAD PAKS (adult electrodes)
  • Carry case
  • 4 years battery life
  • Quick reference instruction card
  • 10 year warranty

How It Works

The HeartSine samaritan PAD 360P is a fully automatic external defibrillator (AED) that analyzes the heart rhythm and delivers an electrical shock to victims of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in order to restore the heart to normal rhythm. This user-friendly AED provides easy to follow visual and audio prompts to guide the rescuer through pad application. Shock delivery, if required, is fully automatic which means there is no shock button to press.

It’s lifesaving, pure and simple.

Easy-to-Follow Visual and Voice Prompts

User-friendly. The samaritan PAD 360P features easy-to understand visual and voice prompts that guide a user through the process, including CPR coaching. Three large, easy-to-see icons facilitate the rescue process: “Attach pads,” “Do not touch the patient,” and “It is safe to touch the patient”.

One-button operation. The SAM 360P only has one button – ON/OFF, ensuring straightforward operation for all levels of rescuer.

Always ready. A System Status Ready Indicator flashes to show that the complete system is operational and ready for use. Device automatically runs self check each week.

Real Economy for the Real World

Two parts, one expiration date. Pad-Pak™ cartridge combines battery and electrode pads, with just one expiration date to monitor.

Low cost of ownership. With a shelf life of four years from date of manufacture, the Pad-Pak offers significant savings over other defibrillators that require separate battery and pad units.

Protects both adults and children. The HeartSine samaritan PAD’s built-in intelligence and unique Pediatric Pad-Pak, which is available for 1-8 years of age (<25 kg or 55 lbs), ensure the appropriate energy level is delivered for children.

Compact in Size. Big on Ability

Portable and lightweight. At only 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg), weighs less and is up to 56% smaller than other portable defibrillators.

Highest level of dust/moisture protection. The samaritan PAD has a rating of IP56, providing the SAM 360P defibrillator with the highest level of protection from dust or moisture ingress in the industry.

Durable. The samaritan PAD 360P resists shock and vibration and carries an IP56 Rating, the industry’s highest rating against dust and moisture ingress. It also carries a ten-year unit warranty that demonstrates the reliability of this quality unit.

Advanced technology. The samaritan PAD 360P utilizes proprietary electrode technology, advanced and stable firmware, and proprietary SCOPE™* Biphasic Technology (an escalating and low-energy waveform that automatically adjusts for patient impedance differences) to assess rhythm and maximize effective shock delivery if necessary.

*Self-Compensating Output Pulse Envelope technology automatically compensates energy, slope and pulse envelope for the patient.

Which first aid kit do I require? HSE or BS8599-1?

There is no mandatory contents list for workplaces, deciding what should be included is down to a risk assesment by the employer. However there is generally two options, a HSE first aid kit and a BS8599-1, the HSE kits are basic and would suit low risk workplaces such as offices whereas the British Standard 8599-1 is a more robust kit and has much more contents and includes burn dressings, more suitable for industrial & public workplaces.

Which size first aid kit do I need?

Again, the workplace risk assessment should give you a good indication of what you need but in general -

Low risk workplaces (shops, offices, libraries etc)

- 1 SMALL kit under 25 employees

- 1 MEDIUM kit 25-100 employees

- 1 LARGE kit 100+ employees

High risk workplaces (industrial, sports, chemical, food processing etc)

1 SMALL kit for under 5 employees

1 MEDIUM kit for 5-25 employees

1 LARGE kit per every 25 employees

Please bear in mind the physical size of the workplace, a first aid kit should always be quickly accessible in a workplace.

Do I need a HSE poster & accident book?

Yes and no, by law all workplaces must have an up-to-date HSE poster. Accident books are not a legal requirement however recording an accident in some way shape or form is, an accident book is highly recommended.
