Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 1-10 Persons Eyewash & First Aid Point include? ▼

This eyewash and first aid point kit includes a fully stocked first aid kit as well as an emergency eyewash kit, containing 2 × 500 ml sterile saline bottles, all housed in wall mounted Evolution cases.

Is this comply with UK first aid regulations? ▼

This kit supports compliance with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirement for “adequate and appropriate” first aid provision under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, however, you should confirm that the contents meet your site’s first aid needs assessment.

Can it serve 1–10 employees only? ▼

This 1-10 Persons eyewash and first aid point is made for small workplaces of up to 10 people, which is a great choice for offices, retail units or small workshops.

How secure and accessible is the unit? ▼

The Evolution case has a one handed release mechanism and mounts on a wall bracket, meaning the kits stay secure until needed.

Where should I install the unit for compliance? ▼

It is recommended to place this first aid and eyewash point where chemical splash, dust or other eye hazards exist, as well as any potential injuries needing first aid treatment. The unit should be wall mounted close to risk zones, ideally within a few seconds’ reach, to comply with best practice emergency eyewash and first aid accessibility.

How often should sterile eyewash be replaced or checked? ▼

Sterile items will carry expiry dates and should be replaced by these dates, or immediately after use.
