This BurnSoothe dressing is a large sterile, non-toxic, non-adherent burn dressing made to give instant cooling, pain relief and protection across a broad skin surface.

This burn dressing is made for the first aid management of all burn types (thermal, scald, etc.), giving immediate cooling and protection until medical care is available.

Is the BurnSoothe dressing sterile and safe for direct skin contact? ▼

This burn dressing is sterile and non-toxic, and safe for direct application on skin.

Does this dressing require pre-cooling of the burn with water? ▼

It is still best first aid practice to cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes, before applying the sterile burn dressing.

Is the burn dressing reusable? ▼

The BurnSoothe dressing is single use only, and should be disposed after use.

After applying the burn dressing, how should it be secured? ▼

Once the burn dressing is placed directly on the cooled injury, it should be loosely secured with a conforming bandage or similar. It is advised to avoid tight wrappings that can impair circulation.
