This dressing is made for superficial and partial-thickness burns, skin loss wounds, abrasions, grazes and leg ulcers, due to its paraffin impregnated, non-adherent design.

This gauze dressing includes non-adherence, hypoallergenic cotton gauze impregnated with paraffin jelly. They are supplied in individually sterile-wrapped sheets measuring 10 cm × 10 cm (pack of 10).

This is a sterile CE certified product.

How should the dressing be applied in a clinical or workplace environment? ▼

It is recommended to clean the wound area, and apply the paraffin gauze directly to the wound bed, and then secure it with a suitable absorbent secondary dressing. Additionally, it should be changed when soiled or saturated.

Are there any contraindications or special precautions? ▼

It is strongly advised to avoid use if the patient has known sensitivity to paraffin/impregnated dressings. Additionally, this dressing is not designed for arterial bleeds, deep third-degree burns or uncontrolled infection.
