The 20ml Eye Wash Pod make a valuable addition to any first aid kit. These saline eyewash pods can be used individually or for refilling the eye wash stations.

Each pod contains a sterile saline solution, which is ideal for treating different types of minor eye injuries.

What is in each Eye Wash Pod? ▼

Each eyewash pod contains 20ml of a sterile 0.9% sodium chloride (normal saline) solution. They are also CE-marked and sterile, making them ready for immediate use in minor eye irrigation or rinsing.

Is the saline suitable for first aid eye irrigation? ▼

0.9% sterile saline is the standard eyewash solution used to flush out eye irritants such as dust, debris or minor contaminants.

Can I store eye wash pods indefinitely in first aid kits? ▼

These eyewash pods have a long expiry (this current batch expires February 2029). They should be kept sealed and stored in a clean, dry area. Once opened, the solution should be used immediately and cannot be resealed.

Can these eyewash pods be used with a wall mounted eyewash station? ▼

These eyewash pods can be used to top up an existing eye wash pod station in your workplace.

How should eye wash pods be used in an emergency? ▼

To use these eye wash pods; twist off the seal, hold the pod near the eye, and gently squeeze the solution from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eye, making sure that the fluid flushes across the eye surface.

What situations are eyewash pods for? ▼

Eyewash pods are suitable for dust, grit, inert debris or minor irritants in the eye, which is common in workshops, warehouses, offices or light industry settings.

Where can I find larger volume eye wash if required? ▼

If your workplace risk assessment requires a larger eyewash solution, we recommend the 500 ml eyewash bottle.
