Description

A finger dressing, packaged and designed in such a way that it is possible for the injured person to dress their own finger, when a plaster is not quite adequate. The low adherent pad is attached to a soft bandage for wrapping around the finger. Small and large versions feature a small peelable tab that exposes a sticky patch for adhering the end of the bandage in place. Simple, but highly effective.

What exactly is this finger dressing and how does it differ from a finger plaster? ▼

This finger wound dressing is a highly absorbent 3.5 cm × 3.5 cm pad attached to a self-adherent conforming bandage. Unlike a standard finger plaster, which uses adhesive sheets and can be a lot less secure on wounds, this finger bandage is able to wrap around fully and stay in place, offering better coverage and hygiene control.

Is this sterile finger dressing suitable for workplace first aid kits? ▼

Each sterile finger dressing is individually wrapped for a high level of hygiene, CE‑certified, and HSE‑approved, making it more than suitable for a workplace first aid kit that adheres to Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 and further guidance such as BS 8599‑1, which, while not mandatory, is widely adopted in UK workplaces.

Can this finger bandage be applied by the injured person? ▼

The self-adherent strip on this finger dressing allows for simple, one-handed application. This user-friendly design makes it a highly practical finger dressing.

What finger dressing sizes are available? ▼

These finger dressings are available in three sizes, being the small 3.5 cm, No.7 size, and Large 5cm size. These compact sizes ensure that the dressing fits comfortably while providing full coverage and protection for workplace or first aid use.

Can this finger bandage be used in food preparation zones? ▼
