Prometheus Pelvic Splint Tactical
The Prometheus Pelvic Splint is intended for the emergency management of suspected pelvic fracture(s).
- Stabilises a suspected pelvic fracture
- Tamponades blood flow by reducing pelvic volume which promotes clot formation, improving haemodynamics and reduces the need for blood transfusions.
- Relieves pain and helps prevent further injury to the pelvis
- The perineum is left uncovered
- Made of 6mm neoprene fabric
- One size fits all
- May be cut to size to allow access to abdomen and groin without compromise
- Soft material with no stitching reduces risk of pressure ulceration and/or friction
