How long do reusable ice packs stay cold?
When kept in a freezer, this gel pack will stay cold for approximately 20-30 minutes of continuous cooling therapy use.
Can I heat the icepack in the microwave?
This gel pack can double up as a reusable hot pack, by simply heating the gel pack for 15 seconds in a microwave at 750W only. The gel pack, when heated, is perfect for soothing muscular tension or menstrual cramps with gentle heat therapy. It is important to follow the microwave guidelines written on the box, and gel pack itself, and to also use a protective barrier rather than direct skin contact to avoid burns.
Is the gel pack safe for repeat use?
This reusable ice pack is made to withstand many cycles of heating and freezing without degradation. However, if after time you notice any leaking, or deterioration of the gel pack, discard it immediately
